Life's Just Networking is a networking event with a difference. Broken into four parts, the evening consists of casual networking, short film screenings (followed by Q/As with attending filmmakers), presentations from filmmakers about their new projects, and finally more networking.

Films and presentations are chosen in advance and have been included to maximise the effectiveness of the networking: the shorts allow people to get a sense of who they might work well with, while the presentations allow filmmakers to talk about their upcoming projects and what they need to realise them, giving others an opportunity to find out more and get involved. 'Filmmaker' is used as a general term, and people from all areas of production – from actors to directors to producers to grips to composers – are welcome to screen their work and/or discuss new projects.

The evening runs as follows:

19:00-20:00: Networking
20:00-21:00: Short films + Q/As
21:00-21:15: Break/Networking
21:15-22:00: Filmmaker Presentations
22:00-23:00: Networking

The next event will take place upstairs at The Duchess, Battersea, on Tuesday 9th March.

Cost: £4 before 20:00, £5 after (payment on the door, cash only please).
